Any insight into Face-off “Interference”?

The ease of an interference penalty on face offs was a problem in NHL 24 and 25. Where as the smallest contact against the opposing center lead to a penalty. Even after turning Interference off in gameplay options the problem was still present. Do we know if it been fixed for 26?

This was definitely my biggest issue with game as it affects just the overall game and made it quite unenjoyable. I don’t want perfection but I feel like the basics of the game of hockey should be the utmost priority and absolutely be the games best feature.

Also do we know when the game will be available on EA Play?

What are you doing on faceoffs? This is still one I've never seen other than getting a video of it awhile back. It would be good to get some better instructions or a new video of it. How often is it happening?

We haven't announced anything about EA Play. Normally, that happens in the spring though.

I have never once gotten a faceoff interference penality and i play it everyday so be patient! Thank you

I see AI-controlled centers cross-checking the opposing center for no reason whatsoever and getting called for interference all the time in NHL 25.

Just interference in general has become a problem. I see it happening a lot during position battles in front of the net, and my AI teammates go flying.

Also do we know when the game will be available on EA Play? If u mean 10 hour trial if u have eaplay you can play 10 hour trial sptember 5

Normally, the game releases on EA Play in the Spring.

Do you have any video of AI players interfering on faceoffs? If you do, let me know so I can send that over to the team for review.

I've had AI wingers get penalties all the time, it stands to reason the center could do it too. Was an absolute death sentance in 3v3 when going up against a top team
