Be A Pro Nationalities

What was the decision making behind what countries you're able to be from in Be a Pro?  I understand not every nation is going to represented but... Kazakhstan? Why Kazakhstan and not anywhere else like Denmark, Norway, France, UK, Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, etc.?  I feel like it would have been pretty cool to just let the player choose anywhere and generate generic players/jerseys.

Also, the inability to jump right into the NHL and play for a specific team is pretty brutal.
