Be a Pro Rosters

Can someone from EA give me a detailed explanation as to why the rosters on Be a Pro are not accurate? Why is Marner still on Toronto? Why is Clifton still on Buffalo? Why did Buffalo sign Dadanov when he signed with New Jersey?

I expect and demand an explanation promptly. The rosters should be absolutely accurate the day the game comes out. Utterly inexcusable.

Be A Pro draft happens before the off-season reason we see Marner on his old team, reason we still see Gavin on Medicine Hat. The CHL Memorial is from 2025. So all the transactions that happened during the draft and after will not be in there.

Roster updates tend to release every couple of weeks. We'll have to wait and see what changes are coming with the next one.

Yeah agreed on everything above, this is disappointing. I just played first pre-season game against Minnesota and they had Granlund there, he should be in Anaheim.

I do have a question about this too.  I get the immersion into NHL at the draft.  It is a bummer that the rosters are not accurate.  I would have expected the rosters to be accurate when you get to the team at training camp.  I dont care who was on the team during the draft.  It's disappointing.  I was not playing NHL25 when it came out last year to notice this.  Is this consistent?  Meaning in NHL25, the rosters were locked at the draft and did not change all year?  (trying to determine if I should have hope that it will change ;) )

I do note for all that when you skip juniors/memorial/european cup and go straight to an NHL team (undrafted), the game uses whatever the active roster is.  This is consistent to how it worked in NHL25.  The Sep 3 rosters that are provided with the game are accurate (i.e. Marner in Vegas.)  Unfortunately, the default modes of BAP ignore those.

I do have the latest roster update active. Once again, please provide me with an explanation for this and how to fix it immediately.

EA_Aljo First of all, there is no option for the latest roster, only september 3, 2025 (which still isn’t an updated roster on BAP).  Second of all, thats not the point, you shouldn’t have to do that in the first place. If someone releases a 70 dollar game, the least it should have ready on it is the latest roster. So incompetent.

Hey there. It sounds like you might not have the latest roster update. You can get it from the main menu > More > Rosters.

It is beacuse they want you to be in this year's draft, that means everyone who was on teams before the 2025 draft are still there and its like nothing happened during free agency
