Can't use Made on Ipad mask in Franchise?
Hi, Is there a way to use the Made on Ipad mask on another goalie? For example, if I trade Sam Montembeault with the Canadiens, why can't I make Jacob Fowler wear the mask like we could in NHL 26? K...

I'd really like a follow up on this. We all know it's a copy paste of NHL 25 then it's tweaking time. Someone, on purpose, chose to remove the feature and I want an explanation. That was an cool way to add an extra mask to your team.
EA has a contract with the NHLPA to use player pics, team equipment, etc and anything pertaining to the NHL. However. Goalie masks come under a different scenario. Although a goalie through the NHLPA agreement with EA, gives the right to use it. Transferring it, now involves one other individual(s). The masks designer. An agreement would have to be made seperately as to whether the designer relinquishes rights to allow it to be used, or transfer their design to another player. Its one of the reasons why certain goalie masks are not accurate. No right to copy. Its all about contractual agreements and of course $.
