Unfortunately half the community is upset and we don’t see any changes happening this year. No shade on you Aljo and you’re doing your best to communicate. Unsure why there aren’t any others available and for a game as expensive as NHL 26 it’s quite sad to see this quality of play being in such a bad state. I understand EA NHL is a small dev team but our leaders need to step up. Too many are focusing on other games because these updates are lacking and games a mess… simple fixes that even someone myself could fix. Heck I would even send the coding to fix the errors so this game would be somewhat playable.

Unfortunately half the community is upset and we don’t see any changes happening this year.
The game has been out 2 months. We've also released 2 updates addressing many issues. I get that the ones you want resolved haven't gotten attention yet, but saying there have been no changes really isn't accurate. There's more coming. We'll make an announcement when we have some news.
Not saying there hasn’t been any changes but some issues that are making the quality of life for gameplay is making it hard for us to keep going. I’m talking about the players who aren’t getting penalties called and then abuse the should be called penalties to their advantage. As for the game in sense of Rosters it seems like if editing a player at a certain height crashes it to the console dashboard. Most of these issues have been around since NHL 24 is why I left the series briefly. They were supposed to be addressed and never were as it’s NHL 26 and most of these problems still exist. In the coding world these are fixes that could be fixed if focus was more indirect. Seems like rushing the product isn’t working imo… it’s our money not theirs! We paid for the game….not them. Take it from our pov. We just want a good quality game for our moneys worth…
Most likely the patch will be called nhl27 and cpu stick penalties will be a new feature. At least with 2k you got every different type of penalty called and the ref voiced the call.
Oh wow I remember every type of penalty being called in 2K. And also the ref announcing the penalty with hand motions was just amazing.
Maybe EA will implement this in NHL 35 as a “new” feature. 🤷♂️
