Checking
NHL 26 does have some improvements over 25. However. The game play still feels like you are still playing the previous years version. The one element that hasn't changed is. The checking. Since the intro of shoulder checks a few years past. The checking in this game is sub par to its original format. And the issue with hits as compared to checks, still has not been given a notice as too the difference. Personally. Any intentional contact between players, is a check or hit. Whatever you want to call it. But obviously the way it sits. There is a difference. The only acceptable difference between hit and check should be. One that is described. Shoulder check, hip check, etc. Perhaps EA it is time for you to identify your meanings, regarding elements in the game. Like checks/hits. When the game objectives call for hits. That is where there is an uncertainty regarding the requirement.
