Custom Roster has fake date + promoting IPad goalie helmets but not in game

This isn't a big issue that I know of yet. Mind you I will not touch the file cause I feel it will break my game on a whole somehow.

Can someone at EA NHL explain to me what the date is for a custom Roster and why the game is making up dates that don't exist.

I also can't see the iPad goalie helmets in the game even after downloading the latest roster update; even though the game as ads for it in games. 

I added images for all of them.
