Custom Rosters in BAP?

I think what you are trying to suggest is have BAP start in training camp for your BAP person so that the rosters can be updated or custom. Instead of them starting at the beginning of the year where the roster is set to that and can't be changed for the storylines to take place. 

It's part of the storyline since be a pro starts in January 2025 so rosters are set to that. 

Okay, Okay…. So Marner is with Vegas now and lets say Im a Knight fan and want to make sure Marner is on my team. I have two choices. 

1. Start a BAP season and thru thru the worlds, CHL or Euro tourney, go thru the draft, the summer and get to Sept with a 75 rating but the cost is, Marner will not be with the Knights..        Or
2. Start a BAP season and begin in the NHL and select the Knights, which will ensure Marner is on the team. But at the cost of you starting out as a 68 rated player. 

Is there no way to begin at the Worlds (Jan of 2025) and go thru the tourney, draft and offseason and have Marner on the Knights? 

So, be a 75 rated player but with non updated rosters (default) or start in the NHL at a 68 rated player but have to struggle for a season to get to a 75?

Yup that sums it up. 

But also, once you start your BAP with custom roster/updated roster the CPU is going to make moves and won't stay the same.

The day after you start your BAP season, I get that. Why cant EA freeze all transactions while you go thru your worlds, tourney, draft, summer progression, then when the new season starts in Sept, THEN it loads your custom BAP roster? It’s like you cant have the best of both worlds.. 

You either progress thru the cycle and be a higher rated player with 9 months of Traits and Xfactors, or you choose start in the NHL as an undrafted rookie and you are punished by starting off as a 68. 

Why? Why must I be penalized? Let me have fun in the worlds, the tourney, the draft, the summer, then load the selected or custom roster?

Because during that time the season is still going on. The reason the rosters don't update is for the story line in it. I get it. I'd like to start BAP with my roster too but I can't.

The real way they should have it is you start In September to begin. Go though training camp in the Europe or CHL team you choose. Have that be simulated to the world juniors then CHL playoffs kinda how MLB does it. Why they don't do it that way. I don't have an answer for that and I don't think we ever will. 

Oh I know why. The BAP season starts Jan 3, while the NHL league is playing in the background. While you go thru the CHL or Euro tourney, you go thru the trade deadline, the playoffs, the draft and then the FA signings. Then when you get to Sept 16, the default roster probably looks nothing like the default roster. I have two issues. 

1. After you are drafted, you cant see any of the Lines. You cant tell who is on your team, who was signed, who left. Why can I see the lines of my own team after I get drafted? Or who is the Stanley Cup Champion? I know what you are thinking, We all know Florida won, but in the BAP game, anything can happen since its happening in the background. 
2. Why cant custom rosters be loaded on either the first day of the Free agent signing or they load on the first day of pre-season? So regardless of the trades that happened in the fantasy off-season, everything gets reset and the Rosters that you downloaded, custom made or selected is now loaded to your BAP.

That way the person who bought the game and saw the BAP deep dive video showing you the World Jrs, the Tourney and the Draft, can be on a team with the current rosters. Why must the person be punished just because they want to use the current NHL roster to being their BAP career.

Because that was developed years ago. EA just uses copy and paste.

Can’t even be a **bleep** Center when you choose the stupid option they force to the wing no matter if you max out the faceoff skill tree and have the best faceoff stats in the team. @EA like do you guys even play the game? Do you test it AT ALL!? how is it year after year you guys release a game that doesn’t even seem beta tested. How did I literally pay 100$ for this game x2 for my friend too and it’s been nothing but regret, shame, and disappointment. How is that literally possible from a **bleep** video game.
