EASHL Goalie NEEDS to be fixed.
I am going to start this off with I've been playing goalie in EASHL since NHL 10 in both club and leagues. In all the years of this game since then, goalie has gone through many, MANY changes. Some good, some bad, mostly playable still.
This year however, goalie has been the worst it has ever been to play in EASHL. From the clunky animations, improper animation selection based on shots, the scoring traits that goalies have no traits to counter, ect, it has made it almost impossible to play.

This particular example has been an issue with point shots for me since the game has come out. No screen. No tip. 96 vision. Goalie still goes for a chest save when it is clearly going somewhere else.

I don't need to provide any more examples of this as there would be too many.
As for traits, the worst offender is Quick Release. You can be in perfect position, read a play perfectly, even cheat past the post if they are shooting short side, and the goalie still cannot save it. Basic ally a cheat code if someone gets in the slot with it.
While goalies were given traits last year to defend against shooting traits (Close Quarters -> Light Work, One-Tee -> No-Timer, ect.), this year, we do not have any direct traits (except One-T -> Post to Post) that help defend against shooting traits like Quick Release, Backhand Beauty, ect. I feel that goalies need a trait to counter it as sometimes you might as well have one of the old hockey shot training sheets that you put on the net to play.
I know EA has already probably heard all of this a thousand times and have probably already given up on this game as it is already May, but we need to see change. I know tons of goalies who all have given up playing it or have simply not gotten the game because of hearing or seeing how much suffering goalies are going through this year.
Please give goalie love and make the changes we all want to see. That is all I ask.
