Examples of Form Score

Question

I want to share an example of Form Score where I feel it is still off. It still takes multiple goals to get a 100 and does not reward actual good play. In this example:

Lost game 0-1. Was an awesome game. I actually loved it.
Outshot opponent 54-15. AI would not allow anything in. My player had 13 shots by himself.
I was not on the ice when NJD scored so I have a 0 +/-. (And I had 3 hits)
Coach scores Offense: B- 68%, Defense A 96%, Team play A+ 100%, Overall A- 90%
Form score 67/100

This seems off to me. I get that maybe not 100 but I would have expected at least an 80. My suggestion is that the coach score has to have some factor in the form factors. It cannot just be points. The unintended or intended consequence of making it primarily points is that people start lowering the difficulty to score more. That kills the realism. I absolutely loved getting beat 0-1.

I’ve mentioned this before but I play very defensively. My hero’s in hockey are the Kopitars and Barkovs. Would love the new BAP to reward that, not penalize it. NHL25 was better for defensive players, IMO.

Here is another example where I would have expected 100 form score. &nbsp;B-/A/B = B+ coach scores. &nbsp;1 assist and 2 +/-. &nbsp; Seems like you can only get 100 if you score a goal. &nbsp;Should not be that way.

Last exampleLast example. &nbsp;Good defensive game. &nbsp;0 points but 2 +/- , &nbsp;B-/B/C+= C+. Form score 45. &nbsp;I would have expected ~70. &nbsp;Lower team play here is because I don’t get to do face offs.&nbsp;(Unrelated point but for the love of god, NHL series is the only professional sports game where you cannot pick a position to play. &nbsp;I should be able to play center and not get forced to play wing. &nbsp;It’s the only truly absurd part of this game to me…)
