Hello!
I appreciate that you give constructive thoughts as opposed to the many negative comments here.
I can say that playing around with the gameplay sliders can abolish many of your gameplay problems as I stated in a posting. (gamespeed, injuries, etc.)
But AI in BAP mode often costs enjoyment as in breakouts and overall lack of quicker execution of plays.
In terms of realism in BAP stats, the made a step since nhl 25, as you can see more realistic league-wide player scoring stats which is good.
For me the most important "addition" in BAP would be having a full Junior-season to determine your draft value.
I must say I don't care much about X-factors and stats development which is likely important to most of the community.
I didn't really enjoy any nhl game after nhl 14 until I played around with the gameplay sliders of nhl 25 and played 600 h (mostly franchise-mode).
As there are some good tweaks in nhl 26 I like it too. (with sliders adjusted)
I can understand the online playing experience is probably not as fun because of exploits and default gameplay sliders.
So yeah, you are right, a few fixed gameplay settings which can be implemented in chel would probably solve many problems.
