Franchise Players Beware

Seems to be a reoccurring theme across all EA sports games this year

thouz99​ my guess is it's likely they attempt franchise connected next year so they said **bleep** it and did nothing this year :/

Did they touch Creation modes at all?

No

I'm more of an EASHL main so maybe I just didn't look hard enough but I thought there wasn't a Franchise deep dive? Them leaving these to the last second or not showing anything is pretty telling

I get having a small dev team but to do absolutely nothing on one of the bigger game modes, and to me the one with the most replayability, is incredibly disappointing. Even a small win that'd take less implementation time from the devs would have been better than this. Fully unlock the player editor or something. Move around some bits in the conversation system to make it less of a grind. He'll, maybe optimise the menu lag that makes the whole mode clunk out after 20 mins of simming. There's absolutely no reason for a franchise player to buy this year's game. I know I won't be. 

I bought EA Play for 1 month to search for something what ist new in Franchise mode, but  found nothing. Roster is also very bad. Massive players without or with an old headshot pic. Also massive roster loss of very good prospects which changed to play in college hockey. They had a long time to solve this NCAA problem, but didn't. By law it is possible to buy every single player likeness since years. Maybe many real hockey players will give it for free., so only to ask them. To resume!  Be aware Franchise mode gamers, you want be satisfied.

Till they boot Chel and/or HUT from the game we aren't going to see meaningful changes each year/title! I know they aren't going to get rid of HUT but they could dump Chel or at least make it,it's own title called Sandlot Hockey.This is E.A NHL not E.A Pond Hockey. Hire some more producers and programmers would help but maybe the CEO and top brass just don't care?!?

2K needs to come back or maybe our part of this community (Offline Franchise/Creation sub community)needs to really start putting pressure on and being more vocal about this all.
