NHL 26 HUT

I like a lot of the changes to but this year. I don’t normally play Hut much year to year but been a good time so far.

I find issues with the passing in that a lot of passes seem to fly through my intended target and get intercepted or that my pass just goes in a different direction than what I aimed.

Additionally I find issues with what I’m calling artificial difficulty. I’m having a good time with the challenge in Cup Chase but I find the opposing team does a few things that make the difficulty harder. Things like scoring on a single shot and the shots that do go in against me feel unworked for. I’ll hem the other team in their zone for a while and they’ll come down take a shot from far out and for some reason my 85 OVR goalie can save a shot. Or the periods of time where my team can’t pick up a puck for the life of them, a hundred puck bounces will happen and they’ll all go to the other team. Or if anyone is within a few feet of you the shot you take goes three inches forward and that’s it, there’s no shooting through traffic it feels. It just feels like there are little things that make me feel rather than playing a difficult ai opponent in playing against the game itself. I still am enjoying but I wish it was me against the other team rather than me against the game.
