I do see your point. However. By EA allowing one to design their own mask, somewhere along the line a similarity may occur to a certain pre designed mask. This could open an action of infringement. I do like the idea of producing ones own concepts. But as always, someone may in their endeavours, overstep the boundaries, and cause a problem. Its like the trolls that have been mentioned here. Do you think they would abide by guidelines? And then theres the question of. The designed mask you create, is it intended for a current NHL, AHL goalie. And if so. Would permission be needed by that said goalie to be allowed to don it. Since all NHL goalies are under the NHLPA agreement. And this is where EA and the NHLPA agreement come into play. Is EA open to allowing this to happen, without an enhancement to the current agreement. As it stands. They are not. Your thought should be directly addressed to EA. As only then, would you get an answer of substanance. Keep pushing for what you want!
