EA… seriously?! It’s already extremely difficult to be a competitive goalie. And now you’re nerfing all the loadouts? It’s already so easy to play as a forward that you can score 100% of breakaways, and now you’re nerfing human goalies on top of that?!

@EA: Please listen to your community. There aren’t many goalies who put themselves in this position. A buff would be more appropriate than a nerf.
Just as an example, I know the consensus is five hole does nothing but there is no goalie in the game that has 90+ low attributes and a sub 80 five hole. Five hole minimum should be 85, the range of a hybrid goalies five hole is 76-93, like what? And a butterfly has 79-96... wtf is going on. Get someone who studies the position to have some input in the game because this is insanity.

EA needs to eliminate some of the penalties that are associated with goalies. Its just not balanced. You have a penalty for standing on a low shots, but we cant use butterfly because the moves are so delayed, as if im playing on 200 ping, Youve got screens that happen without a defensive player in the way on a backhand shot. Youve got a power increase that is given the closer you are to a goalie. And all that before you even throw 15 abilities against a goalies 3.
I agree…I was starting to have fun playing Goalie...had some shoutouts too. Now, I just suck and get really toxic comments about my game. Has anyone from EA ever played Goalie?
