Goalies and the last patch

The question is why? Goalie for the first time in years was fun to play, it wasn't a frustrating mess. Did you think goalies are masochists, we were missing the frustration and anger? Players got better with the latest season and goalies regressed to season one stats?   Can you explain why I should buy this game in Sept to be punished in Dec, why don't goalies all just wait until the xmas price drop? This isn't game balance, it's punishing a certain amount of players to make a different set happy. It is the reason this game has never really caught on as an esport. Who wants to watch these useless dmen and goalies, it's also why the game keeps bleeding players every version. Do you just look at this game as a tax write off? Put it back to where it was, make the players get better, stop giving forwards a handicap.
