Has this happened to anyone in EASHL?

Tonight i was playing Chel with my friends, my one friend took a penalty and was kicked from the game while he was in the box. Attached is the message he received, has this happened to anyone before? What would cause this to happen in and EASHL game? This is the first time we all seen this message.

Hello. You'll be kicked if your teamplay drops to an F. If they were taking a lot of penalties, going offside, icing the puck, etc, their teamplay grade will drop.
