HUT Cup Chase - Same Opponents Again?

I’ve played a few seasons now of HUT cup chase and every time I complete a season I face the same teams again the next season. Seriously thought there would be rotating opponents because playing the same teams over and over gets old really fast. Had to come on here and say something because this is just one of the many components of this game that seem overly lazy. Frustrating and disappointing to say the least.
