After short testing, changing from control settings "passing" from manual -> automatic and icon passing worked again as before. Yesterday it worked with manual setting also.

Are you saying this fixed the slow passing issue? Switching from manual to automatic.
I tested it in practise mode 5v0 so there it worked when I turned manual passing "off" from control settings. It didnt work when manual passing was "on". Didnt test it in online game.
Ran another test (offline) and i can confirm that manual Icon passing is not working properly. No jam on the pass. Also, when you hold the button for a harder pass… it sends a slow saucer. I tried it with different teams… from different positions.. from different spots on the ice (behind the net, PP, break out, cross ice) Cant get any speed on the pass. Every pass is being intercepted by the CPU because it looks like the pass is being sent by a 5 year old.

Yeah its totally broken super slow passing
how do you do this does it really work? I can't do anything right now I trained myself for a year to do only icon passing now its all messed up.
