What happened to Icon passing in this patch?… was this on purpose because you broke it. They have absolutely no speed to the passes what so ever. No passes get through anymore. Every pass with Icon passing is extremely slow and you can no longer send a hard pass. Prior to the patch you could use Icon passing to send a pass outside the zone or on a nice breakout… thats gone. Completely.

Having constant issues of trying to pass to X .. only for it to go to player Y or A when they are nowhere near the play.. regular passes constantly go to the further target as well; trying to do a simple 3 ft cross crease to your winger? Nope, how about a 75 ft back pass to the AI defender in the neutral zone?
Remember when we used to see our stick inputs in replay mode so we could show the discrepancy between our inputs and the outcomes? Really wish that feature would come back.. but highly doubt that ever will.

This just shows that they don't even test the game when they release a patch. I noticed the issue the first game after not playing for a week. It's incredible how bad this game has fallen off.

how do you do this does it really work? I can't do anything right now I trained myself for a year to do only icon passing now its all messed up.

Ran another test (offline) and i can confirm that manual Icon passing is not working properly. No jam on the pass. Also, when you hold the button for a harder pass… it sends a slow saucer. I tried it with different teams… from different positions.. from different spots on the ice (behind the net, PP, break out, cross ice) Cant get any speed on the pass. Every pass is being intercepted by the CPU because it looks like the pass is being sent by a 5 year old.
But there must be some other problems also with icon passing because sometimes it is so random. Feels like that fast icon pass mostly works when using it before own blueline or when passing from board to another side
