What happened to Icon passing in this patch?… was this on purpose because you broke it. They have absolutely no speed to the passes what so ever. No passes get through anymore. Every pass with Icon passing is extremely slow and you can no longer send a hard pass. Prior to the patch you could use Icon passing to send a pass outside the zone or on a nice breakout… thats gone. Completely.
Community ManagerI don't have any news on when this will be addressed. Personally, I keep pass assist at 100 and have been able to make short passes with manual passing. Just saying, manual passing is an option if the issue with icon passing are making too many of your passes not connect.

Icon passes were changed so a long-medium press is a saucer and a single short press is a direct pass. The timing on the long-medium was adjusted in a previous patch which resulted in the short press being very slow. EA fixed that, and yet some people haven't adjusted to this change. Furthermore, some player builds don't have a pass attribute that allows long fast saucers, so some people are expecting this and not getting it. This means they need a higher Pass rating on their builds/players.
That said, Icon passing is still not 100% because the icons don't persist while keeping it engaged.
