Not preordering NHL 26 or Battlefield 6. Learned that from EA

The deep dives will be the true tale. Hoping that as they release more information, we will see some of the things that we have been asking for. If we only see minor tweaks, there may be a lot less sales this year. I am waiting until after its release, instead of pre-ordering. I want to know what people think of the changes before sinking money into the game. I also want to know just how much was done to improve the game. Too early to tell at this point.

Let's hope so because the current list of 'features' feels like a kick in the gut: https://www.ea.com/games/nhl/nhl-26/features

Can't imagine they'd pass up an opportunity to announce this during the initial hype rollout.

I'm not sure anyone would have anything good to say. They didnt show much. The trailer could have been made for 25 and I'd have had no idea. That being said, I'm sure they have more to announce. The trailer is always bare bones. Hoping they made some big updates when they start their deep dives. This year I'll be deployed for second half the game's life so I won't be as upset about it falling short of expectations but it would be nice to see a step in the right direction. Revamped BaP, ideally it works along side WoC like some other games but we will see. Connected franchise was teased 4-5 years ago as a multi-year project, maybe that's done cooking? I've read that HUT has a salary cap, if done right that could be a huge W. Of course if they start creating 95 ovr players with low salary cap defeating the purpose of the cap and creating an even bigger division of players it could be bad. Time will tell. Unimpressed, still somewhat hopeful, not confident we will see any of the changes we want.

Heh! Looks like the same “it” but different year. Will have to wait for the full reveal to see if any changes and improvements have been made in the WOC. I have no expectations and that’s the best way not to be disappointed when the full reveal is released.
Using 28 abilities over 5 different categories as a feature?! Doesn’t the mode already have that now?!
As someone who essentially only plays WOC at this point and is not a fan of X-Factors, that trailer did nothing for me. If anything, I'm a bit disappointed that they seem to be doubling down on X-Factors and emphasizing one-man-show hockey.
Even though I don't play the mode, I'm glad to see they've put some effort into BAP. The BAP community has been wandering the wilderness for a while now. Hopefully the changes give them something to be excited about.

We just want to know stuff... what exactly did they reveal? Some new dingles maybe? Some vague allusion to a drafting process? Curious they didnt rule out Switch 2 or PC at the end.
2k26 basketball, madden, fc, most unsurprisingly MLB The Show, all these will make it to switch 2.

With work being done on BAP, hoping that will mean some more depth to franchise mode as well

Notice in news that they have finally revamped the BE A PRO mode. No details on that yet, but happy to see that they are working on that. I also noticed in the trailer that they showed the draft, someone being called up and accepting their jersey. Leaves one thinking that they have revamped some presentations, which would be another thing that many have been calling for. My initial thoughts are filled with some hope. Hard to know a lot at this point, but was a good trailer.
