Is it just me?

The Ai is horrible. EA marketed the last two years as a game with tremendously improved Ai. I’ve lost count the number of times each game I skate into the slot for a shot snd out of nowhere my teammate flies in front of me to block it. It’s ridiculous. And two months in and still broken poke check. Can’t say i’m surprised at this point. 20+ years playing this game and couldn’t care less if the franchise went wheels up. Money grab. Only game I play where i’m frustrated after an hour, every single time and shut it off

From games I have played most of the player so go against aren’t controlling their D at all. Instead they are running into my players without the puck and charging at them without any penalties called. This has brought the pressure meter down for the players and then they change their forward lines while the tired defence leave for a change on their own zone during an odd man rush. AI have no idea how to position and even when trying to make a breakout behind net or trying to get them for a strong side slant for close support of winger. The strong side is already to the blueline without an outlet. I play IRL hockey daily and this is how pucks get turned over. AI is terrible!

No reports of this in HUT? That is because half the guys saying this exploit the game! All of the top Champs guys that is all they do!

I am talking about Chel. Chel D gets blown by. SO we are forced to play D. Just 2 of us. Not 6 Result of this is.... one has quit and I am not playing either. Customers lost.

This is not Hut. It is Chel. And if you need video for that... its just inexplicable.... your people at head office don't test play with 2 in Chel.... Again.... customers lost due to this....

You can always use drop-in players. In most cases, they're going to be better than AI players.

I’m convinced the AI in HUT online is dialed down to either rookie or semi-pro difficulty. They pretty much just shadow the puck carrier, they aren’t aggressive at all like Superstar or Allstar against full out sprinters. If you sprint against those difficulties, you get laid out crossing the blue line. Defense in hockey is fun also, EA. But, If you’re good at the game you can still score, that is, unless all you know how to do is full sprint into forehand/backhand/forehand because you watched a YouTube video on how to score “glitch goals” which after 15 years the goalies haven’t been able to figure out is coming. In fact, we all know it’s coming, but stopping it 25 times a game means you’ve been scored on that way 5 times. Please tighten the screws EA, because I have loved these games since 1991.
