Ive played at least 5 games, with the same defenseman, who tries to score on our own goalie, pulls computer goalie constantly, goes offsides and rams opposing goalies, the entire game, trying to ruin it. Finally get a full game and have to deal with this crap. They need to add a kick option or something
Community ManagerI agree we need a way to handle these players. They are incredibly frustrating. I'll pass on the feedback, but there isn't a way to report someone for griefing currently.
I agree. EA needs to setup a method of reporting players who ruin the game. Not just a way of reporting players who have an "offensive name". A player will get booted for not "getting in the game", so why not set something up for players who ruin the game intentionally. perhaps controlled by other players on the offending players team. Maybe even incorporate an option online for "play with human or AI controlled goalies". Also, a change in the system where if the goalie gets a penalty, the goalie has to serve it instead of the RW and the team plays with an AI goalie for however long the infraction was for.
Anyway, i find NHL26 frustrating to play because too many human players have perfected this "glitch goal" system where they can skate around and hold onto the puck forever and then it seems every shot they take goes in. making the game no fun for other players who enjoy the "old school hockey plays" system. hockey is a team sport. not a score everytime by glitch goal game. seems like a wasted $100...
