What you are saying is unfortunately true in nature. The problem with the game and AI itself is. It responds to a variety of algorithms that have been preset. When these are engaged is an unknown. I cite the Hut format for example. With each level. The AI adopts a different set of instructions regarding how it responds. Rookie being somewhat lax. And Superstar being all out superior. And these variances apply when playing the same AI team. Whether its rating be an 78 or 82. The AI plays above and beyond its true team rating. And because of these variances in algorithms, there becomes problems and oversights. As you have seen on mixed calls. AI being more physical than your team. More poke checking by tbe AI. Etc. The whole concept of team ratings is thrown out the door because of this. You build your team up to a certain rating. However. The AI can still play with an inferior rated team. But depending on the level you play at. The AIs overall play is far superior than its rating. And your team cannot up its play beyond its own rating. Remember. This game is all about manipulation. They bring out numerous variants of cards to entice players to buy into the new ones being superior. When in reality. They are not. Also. The AI cannot recognize who is on the card. It only knows the algorithms that have been set for it. Another manipulation in having players bide for well known players rather than taking a card for its overall rating. The only true ratings than can be verified on a card are. Speed. Acceleration. And Endurance. All others. There is no scale to rate them being accurate. The game is what it is. Unfortunately. Ea obviously has no interest in improving the quality of the game, as long as the money keeps streaming in. Probably why the player base has dropped off over the past couple of years.
