Just be honest? Why isn’t there a straight answer?

EA_Aljo​ avoiding this question is a massive slap in the face to the WOC community. We’ve been very vocal for 365 days that matchmaking settings must be added back into WOC. There’s no way you guys can fumble this but I’m starting to think you’ve somehow managed to. Please tell me I’m wrong.

No reason to ask a question like that as you won’t get an accurate answer yet. Beta testing is too small to know and would have players from all sorts of play ranges. I think it’s gonna have to be a wait and see. Not being rude here but just my honest opinion

What factor does any of that play in the moderators and EANHL being honest with their player base about matchmaking settings

The game is like three weeks away from early release, it’s a pretty crucial detail to not have available at this time. With HUT being a pay to win clown show, franchise being out hustled by a 5 dollar GM Sim app & be a pro being so buggy + unchanged for multiple consecutive releases, there are so many players who only play for world of chel. Not looking good for the player base or EANHL.

We actually may be witnessing one of the biggest fumbles in gaming history, because how do you not listen to your player base about a detail as small and doable as matchmaking? Why was it changed in the first place, oh because queue times are bad. Why are queue times bad? Is it the queue times, or is it the total amount of time you spend trying to get into a game because navigating the menu is so slow and the bugs are so common? And when it is queue times, that problem begins a few months after release, goes away for a bit post Christmas/new year sale then quickly comes back. Why can’t you retain a healthy player base when the life span of your game is 12 months and you have 0 competition? 

First NHL I won’t be pre-ordering since NHL 18. Not about to spend that amount of money if you guys can’t just be honest about your product. YOU KNOW the WOC community overwhelmingly disliked the new matchmaking settings. WE KNOW the message you’re sending by not changing it. But like you said, guess we’ll wait and see.

If it's not in the EASHL deep dive then we'll know. Remember during NHL 15, couple weeks before launch when they dropped the news that EASHL wasn't in the game lmao.

We're afraid that no improvements have been made to the core of online gaming. WoC clearly favors mobile connections (weaker ping) vs. fiber. No other game has you downsizing from fiber. Comical.
