Manual goalie playing the puck

Hi,

Why can't I always control the goalie to play the puck with the stick in manual goalie mode?

And in a real game the goalie are interacting with the puck more frequently. Stops the puck behind the net etc. I would like it to be closer to realism. 

Now the goalie freezes the puck automatically even if manual cover is enabled on.
