Match making clubs dropins

Its not just NHL series, a lot of online games have gone the route of Engagement Optimized Matchmaking over Skill-based Matchmaking.  My guess is the numbers somewhere confirm more player engagement using EOMM over SBMM.  At a macro level though it can get pretty frustrating.  My team takes on whoever we are matched with and occasionally its lead to some great moments of overcoming higher ranked teams with careful gameplay.  More often than not though its usually we hang in for a bit only to get stomped once the **bleep** breaks and we quit.  Hopelessness creeps into a number of our members.

If the wait time would really be as bad as Aljo indicates, I would prefer instead of locking a matchmaking search to specific lobby size/skill, start with the desired attributes and then expand the search circle every 30 seconds until you have a match.  Many other online games actively tell you during matchmaking when a desired match isn't found and they are expanding the search.

What's the point of a rank if there is no consideration.. I think and probably most of the woc community would rather a little bit of wait time to match a team with a similar ranking instead of being matched against blue purple and elite badges every game . If they get a 4 goal difference we just quit .. some teams quit before the puck even drops when they see all elite badges .. trust the community in the match making cause it makes the game not fun .. hey let me load up to be stomped on against elite today been play more game modes instead of woc for that reason 

Rank is not taken into consideration with matchmaking. I'll pass on the feedback you'd like it to. The downside to this is it means there would be significantly longer matchmaking times so I don't see this being added.

We just quit the match immediately now no point in playing against a bunch of cheaters.

Worst parts it doesn't even have to be clubs its in dropins too .. wheels elite edges and the L2 glitch crap that was supposed to be patched .. copy and paste money grab for a roster update. 

Nhl 25 always matched with elites.. nhl 26 still matched  against with all elites.. im not the worst at the game but always being mismatched is pretty annoying .. solid silver forever I guess .. come on EA Developers make match making needs a upgrade .. I know I ain't the only one who feels this way about match making
