Matching on Wrong Server

Know of an issue where players located in Alberta (Edmonton and Calgary specifically) are constantly being put onto the Montreal server instead of the Vancouver server. Max ping set to <20 or <30 and will be put on 41-50 ping Montreal server rather than Vancouver server which normally gives ~25-29 ping. I know this problem is affecting multiple people who live in this area, and was wondering why we are being blocked from matching on our optimal server in Vancouver and why it would be automatically assuming that the Montreal server is the optimal one. My personal internet is not an issue as it is affecting multiple players across Alberta. Any reason as to why this is happening? Also please consider letting us choose which server we play on in future NHL titles like in other video games to avoid this issue altogether.
