Menu Screen Question!

This is a bit random, but I loaded up chel today and Dylan Larkin was front and center on my menu screen, and then it would rotate between Larkin, Matthews and then both of them.

My favourite team is set to the Maple Leafs, so I was just wondering if this is a new update and it will show players from the team the Leafs are playing for their next game? Or is this a glitch? Lol
