The “activities” recharges on a certain day, either Sunday or Monday and in the Chapter or Box Score screens there are no indications of the day of the week. I have to go to my phone to look to see what date a Sunday falls on. And correct me if Im wrong, but there is no indication of when the Trade Deadline is. In previous years, in the calendar screen, you have a red dot signifying the trade deadline, but none can be found in BAP chapter or Box scores.
Chapters goes by games of 8 and not days of the week. If you were to place Saturday, April 4th, 2026, on the main screen above the chapter, I can adjust my spending of the “Energy” points because I would know when the next batch arrives. Also give us an indication of the trade deadline. Also add the day of the week in the Box scores. Just the three letter abbreviations and that can be used long term planning. This way I dont have to bust out my phone again to look. Imagine playing NHL26 and being 12 years into your career and I have to pick up my phone to look up what date a Sunday drops in December of 2038.
I miss being able to “sim to a date” Like in the offseason in previous versions, I could just sim to a Sunday when all of the training points were given, but right now. I have to press the “advance day” 7 times to get to Sunday. If you sim to the end of a chapter, then you could very well blow by the day the Energy points drops. Hence is why the calendar feature was very important. Long range planning, trade deadline, past scores, and sim to a date. All in one screen.
If you do this, I can live without the Calendar. It would suck, but I can adapt. Having the day of the week helps out a lot in rationing your energy points for a given week or chapter. Can I live without “sim to date” ? Yes, but it would suck being in the offseason and having to hit “advance day” 100 times. EA will say, you can sim to the offseason. I can, but I would miss out on all of the energy points since you can only bank 15 at a time. If you allowed 100 in your bank, then I can probably sim thru the entire offseason. I am the type of person that wants to see who my team picked up in the offseason or trade deadline. I appreciate the “activity feed”. I can see who was signed and who is hurt and how long my teammates are going to be out. This helps out a lot and saves time so you dont have to wait for “Trades of the day” to pop up in the banner below. So that was nice. Kudos.
I hope this feed back helps somewhat. The main thing is.. Day of the week and Trade Deadline.
Thank you for asking
