I don't switch, I play BaP only so I'm only in control of one player, me. they MUST change that the form score goes by the position you are playing. yes forwards should have to score goals and assists but even a two way defenseman should not have to get a 70 in offense and only a 55 or 60 in defense in the coaches score. the whole form score is based on weather you score points which is wrong. that means if you have to score EVERY GAME then 9 out of 10 times you will win the game. I say this because I scored a goal and got a B+ in overall coaches score and STILL only got a 88 in form score for that game. they never even scored a goal while I was on the ice. I got that because it was a tough game and had a hard time getting hits but had a 88% in defense. I should not have any higher that a 60 in offense as a defenseman. also if I don't score a point in a game, I still should get no less than a 95 for the game because if they do NOT score while I'm on the ice and we play most of the time in the offensive zone while I'm on the ice then I did my job. but no matter what position you play, you SHOULD ONLY HAVE TO GET 65 TO 65% IN FORM SCORE. I'm on the top pairing and have to maintain a 75 form score. that means I have to get a form score of at least 75 EVERY GAME to hold to 75 chapter score. so say I have a bad game and don't score a point but still have high coaches score, the form score for that game will only be probably around 60 or so. yes you could have a really great game to make that up but if you play your position you will not because it also goes back to the fact that they amp up the other team, especially the goalie. I played a game on ROOKIE and out of 3 six min periods we only scored 4 goals and I didn't score at all and we had around 40 shots? that a load of crap. I'm not the greatest player but come on. I was still green in all aspects of the coaches score but I was getting hit a lot and had a lot of shots blocked, and that goes to say I wish MY teammates would get in front of the shooter and block shots. I am literally the only one to block shots. the AI MAY block one in 3 games. they usually just skate away and let them shoot. I posted in another thread a video and someone asked me what my sliders were because my team had over 40 shots for the game. now I play 6 min periods so yep that's a lot but out of that 40 or so shots I only had about 5-8. the rest was my teammates.
But even as a forward you can’t be expected to score multiple points EVERY game. Irl, even the most elite players get held scoreless sometimes. But as long as they’re generating chances, no one ( the coach) freaks out. And what about grinding type forwards and guys who specialize in defensive play?

exactly my point. your spot on. I've played as a forward and couldn't score every game unless I played it on rookie. it shouldn't be how many goals/assists/points you can get a game but how many chances you put up a game as a forward or how many hits/blocked shots you get a game but EA is only catering to the arcade fan base, not the true hockey fan base
