NHL 26 Be A Pro Reveal

So first off if someone is drafted at 18 and doesn’t make the nhl they get sent to the ahl instead of the chl? like that can’t even happen irl . idk how hard it is to put effort into something. That alone there makes the mode feel so unrealistic. 

Like why not put any effort into the game ? how many prospects spawn out of no where are thrown in not the start of world juniors but the semis and then disappear again for months and randomly get drafted . it gets better when ur 18 and you don’t make the nhl you get sent to the chl but nope not EA. With them you go to the AHL?

I hate this company with the fire of a thousand suns. The utter contempt for the player base and hockey fans just oozes out of its smug presentation of their own game. LOL no more pricey pond hockey!!! Here's the same **bleep** wrapped in a different blanket instead, lol. Once again we are railroaded into a cookie cutter "superstar" experience and we start our career "at the SEMI FINALS of the WORLD JUNIORS." We don't earn anything, we don't get to be a grinder with a dream, we don't get to be anything other than the KID, again. EA just doesn't get it, and they don't care. End of story. 

Looks interesting… be a pro normally gets stale after the rookie season, and I feel like that’s still true here despite the “story chapters”. It would be much more engaging if the player had an all star selection or international team selection or something like that to play for. I believe EAFC has a World Cup or international tournament every 4 years which would be nice to have here. Maybe it’ll be a next year addition.

The all star game selection is already in the mode but translating that to a mode could be a lot of work. Ideally I’d just like the World Cup of hockey to be in the mode, olympics I understand would be nearly impossible to gain the rights to. Also would love to play at least 1 full CHL season too like the game had before NHL 21.

bro you think they’re gonna ever add any of that? Legally in the nhl if you don’t make the team at 18 you have to be sent back to the chl . ea said who cares about actual nhl rules and lets you play in the ahl. they don’t care about anything 

But instead of saying they don’t care, why not try and be constructive, I get the frustration, I feel it all the time, but when I complain about the game I try to do it in a respectful way. As someone who plays the mode, I understand that the developers behind NHL are a smaller group of people, I try to request the bare minimum, I’m not asking for a lot (besides the all-star game mention). It’s frustrating that after 6 years they finally update be a pro, and it’s the same but repackaged, They aren’t adding anything new in terms of actual gameplay besides the world juniors, that’s annoying, and inauthentic to what the mode should be.

The developers behind the game do care though, they just have different ideas and opinions of what the game should be and that’s ok. We can try and offer suggestions on what we want though without cutting them up or being disrespectful.

if i’m spending $130 yearly for basically the same game i don’t not care to be respectful about the game lol at all .

I am very disappointed as I was looking forward the most to be a pro. Being sent down to the AHL if you’re not playing well is a step in the right direction. But…

I don’t feel like the community was listened to.

What about playing a few seasons in the CHL like in  NHL20 and prior?

Is it possible that you start in the AHL immediately after being drafted?

Is this world juniors storyline just being added to the existing memorial cup and champions hockey league storylines? It feels like in be a pro you are still being railroaded immediately into the NHL - yet again. I think many of us would prefer less strict storylines with the ability to take a good degree of time in the minors working our way up to the NHL.

MLB the Show’s Road to the Show is excellent in working your way from AA to AAA then the MLB - it happens fairly quickly if you good.

please correct me if I am misunderstanding anything.

On another note, FIFA/EAFC has one of the best career modes where you can play in any of the leagues in the game and at the same time for your international team. Why can’t we also do this?

EA_Aljo​ was hard to tell from the trailer or deep dive blog but can you expand on the voice acting? Will it just be for like celebrini or like you meetings with coaches or team mates will be as well or the scrums with the reports?
