NHL 26 Be A Pro Reveal

Lots of people want junior hockey back in Be a Pro.

I’m not gonna lie i’m super excited for wjc and all the skating out stuff looks incredible and i’m super excited but why can’t it be like nhl 19 where u can play a whole year in the CHL like where you pick ur draft year and then u actually have to play good in the first half of the CHL to make the wjc team like why add the wjc hype it up so much and then u get to play 2 games of it. We want to play the whole tournament.

I only play be A Pro mode and I'm glad they are revamping this mode.

I read this on the official be a pro site. So can we play in the minors? If we can play in the minors can we start are career in the minors?

Playing in the minors. For the first time in years you can now be sent down to the AHL. If your play slips, you may find yourself back in the minors. Your career path is no longer locked to a straight line from draft to stardom.

I didn't hear anything about an All Star game so I assume no All Star game again.

I never play be a pro and even I knew most people wanted to play at least a full year in the CHL like it was back in '19. Not sure how that gets overlooked year after year. 

I don't have any details on this, but I'm trying to find out. I'll respond when I have some news.

It’s actually crazy that they “revamped?” BAP twice now, and one of the core features that has been removed, still hasn’t been added back in. 

EA_Aljo​ are full seasons in the CHL (OHL, WHL, QMJHL) being added back?

EA_Aljo​ Can you tell me if we will see the tunnel walkouts in every game? If so, I would love that. Hopefully, you already have an answer.  

Honest question, what was the last decent idea proposed by the player base that was actually integrated into the game where this company listened? 

Does removing the opening cut scene for the last 7 be a pro's count as significant?

I've read soooooo many great ideas and simple enough ideas for this team to add over the course of a 7 year period and pretty much all of them didn't make it into the game. The community has given so much grace and has shown so much patience, that for this to be the big change for the mode is utterly disgraceful to the people that pay the ridiculous price for this game. Every year this game comes out with a full AAA price and it gets the same amount of work put into it as those game developers who receive funding through community fundraising to only throw out a half baked alpha and call it a day. 

They don't even update the game over the course of the year anymore. They don't tune it. They hardly patch what they break. Each game mode takes years to get an upgrade. 

Such a dedicated and patient fan base once again let down at every next opportunity. 

In a completely calm manner, we absolutely need to have full CHL - multiple seasons - in the minors a la “live the life”. Is this a thing being discussed? If not, please know that everyone thinks it’s crazy it has disappeared.

Also, why couldn’t it be added in a patch? 

Season stat goals from coach/gm… why are the old features that are so basic and essential just non existent. The changes here seem nice, but people want engaging rewarding reasons to play be a pro for multiple seasons whilst it still feel like they are progressing to something. The old gen games got this, realism doesn’t need to be some nice rendered cut scene that we will want to skip after the second time we see it… 

Please bring back old features and don’t cut existing ones to do so….
