WOC need a specific bump to goalies, getting in position to stop a single guy with an elite ability is understandable and reasonable. But to do the same for 5 separate players makes the position at least 10x harder. Even the best teams in the main game have at most 2 guys on the ice at one time with shooting abilities, WOC has 5. There needs to be a balance.
As an example, quick release effects 70+% of the shots taken due to most shots being a wrist and/or snap shot. Either remove snap shots from that metric OR give goalies an ability/boost that counter acts this. Currently there is not direct counter to this, the only work around way to do this would be to run elite dialed in and build it up to an acceptable range (i.e. 3 saves = 12% increase to reflexes with dialed in which counters quick releases -10% on gold) but then a goal resets this and we have to build it up again. This isn't even considering highest stages of quick release where now you're talking about higher and higher %'s requiring more and more saves to have an adequate counter.
I would suggest anything within the goalies standard range without stretch reaching should be increased. Goalies should be rewarded for keeping the puck within a certain square around them. Not praying that a puck doesnt squeeze through an armpit or off a blocker and in.
