NHL 27 or bust

The NHL series has started to feel very clunky and outdated. The AI is broken and playing against the CPU often feels unrealistic and frustrating instead of challenging. The game also looks strangely dark in some arenas and the goal celebration cutscenes interrupt the flow of gameplay.

Each new release is starting to feel more like a roster update rather than a true improvement. It often seems like more attention is put into things like HUT packs and cover athletes instead of improving the core gameplay.

Modes like IIHF have great potential but are limited—for example, you can’t edit rosters in that mode. Fans want to see real innovation, better AI, smoother gameplay, and meaningful upgrades to the game rather than small yearly changes.
