NHL 2K10 AI better than nhl 26

The EA NHL series is the only gaming title I know of personally where every major release has less functionality/capabilities then previous releases.   I normally just play BAP and a bit of Franchise mode.  In BAP, NHL2014 seems to be the pinnacle.  Since then every major revision of BAP has regressed (except in quality of graphics).  There are aspects of BAP in 26 that I like but frankly still a fraction of the realism and immersion that Nhl14 had.  Having spent 35 years in s/w development, I recognize the pattern of a shrinking development team.  Maybe the team adopting Claude or Cursor will help them accelerate and do more (not do the same or less with less people - my fear).
