Play Off in Franchise Mode
I've encountered a problem where the AI starts cheating heavily in the playoffs. Most importantly, from unrealistic positions. An AI player might have his back to you, turn sharply from 6-7 meters away, and shoot the puck into your net with an off-hand shot. But this isn't limited to just one. It can score similar goals up to three times, like in my matchup with Colorado. This is especially true if you somehow miraculously win a game or two. The AI turns into a rabid machine that's simply unstoppable, no matter how skilled you are. This has been evident in previous games in the series, but not very severely. Here, the AI's behavior has reached insane levels. Regarding the passing system, I've noticed that it's gotten worse. I can't make accurate passes. Dear press service, please tell the game development department and those responsible for the aforementioned shortcomings to watch NHL games and see how goals are scored. Sure, they're programmers, but the problem is, they need to understand how hockey works. Goals are rarely scored off the wrong hand or from behind the back over long distances. Passes, unless blocked by an opponent, usually go to the most logical spots on the ice, because the NHL is played by top-class players. If you're playing in the playoffs and the AI starts acting completely inappropriately, feeding you unrealistic goals, and your team basically turns into vegetables, then I don't get the dopamine rush, which means I have no desire to buy the next game. I'm not talking about an arcade game; I just want a game that's close to reality. For now, I see broken content and nothing more.
