Poke check is super weak and the players head its even looking at where he is poke checking so stupid
Ea thinks NHL defenders have worse hand eye then a monkey

The game has some type of logic where if you miss the poke check your goalie cant stop anything
Same with 2 on 1s if you go for the poke check vs taking the pass away the goalie will not respond to the cross crease and you get score on but if you simply leave your guy in the passing lane and do nothing and the pass gets through the AI goalie will stop the puck.
Ea caters to offense its patheic. In 18 and 19 defense was more solid, I mean you could actually play defense.
But Ea doesnt like real hockey, they cater to the reddictors who complain, LT abusers and start stop little kids.
Community ManagerI didn't say poke checks are great. I said I'm having little issue with them. And as I have said numerous times on these forums, poke checks could use a boost. Regardless, I'm able to frequently separate the carrier from the puck with them. Your first poke is most important since spamming it will have diminishing returns.
