Poke Checks

We've had feedback that the poke check has improved. I played several games last night and there was a noticeable difference. That doesn't mean every single poke check is going to cause a turnover. It also looks like your player was standing still and off to the side. Pokes aim at where the puck is. Not where it's going. You would have made better contact if you were in front of them. You did separate the carrier from the puck. They picked it up because they were in a better position to do so.

You're welcome to keep commenting on the stick lift if you want. We're very aware of this so there won't be anything else we can say on it until an announcement is made in patch notes or a future game.

Compared to the 24 version, where poke checks were much more accessible. 26s version has definitely diminished in the ability to exercise. Im sure a lot of comments are coming from the old style comparison, to this new hampered one. Change in any aspect can be avantagious, if its premise is sound. If not. It becomes a hinderance. EA should have left the poke check alone.
