Revisiting Goalie Height Incentivization

In addition to this, currently it feels like the reach scaling that is being applied isn't large enough to impact the goalies unless a goalie of under 6ft is utilized. At that point, the trade off in height size isn't worth it. Unfortunately defense is lost and goalies see 70%+ of the shots inside the slot, add the fact that players can snipe the outer perimeter of the net with ease and its a recipe for disaster. We can't play large because our reactions are too slow and we cant play small because we don't cover enough of the net for the accuracy that is rewarded to skaters and the lack of defense provided.
