Roster questions: BAP.

Question

For the good people here, I have a question concerning Rosters.

What does “merging rosters” actually do in BAP?

Let’s say I have already started a BAP career with the Oct 14 roster. Now we have the Oct 20 roster. If I merge my current roster with the Oct 20 Roster, what does it actually do? Does it do anything with my current game? Or does it take affect if I begin a new BAP career?

Merging your old roster with the new updated one. Is suppose to update any new players your team may have acquired, as well as delete the ones who have been moved. However. I cant say I have really seen any significant change. The updated roster works best when you are starting. After that. I don't think it lives up to the concept of the word MERGE
