A couple of years ago, the saucer pass was perfect — you had full control over its power. In NHL 25, they raised the minimum power a bit, which wasn’t ideal but still manageable. But now in 26 the manual saucer pass is always fast. It really limits creativity and narrows the skill gap. Please, fix it.

Please don't make saucer passes slow again. The current saucer pass is essential. It's much snapier and less cumbersome.

I'd argue you had less. You couldn't make a quick saucer pass. You always had to hold it to generate distance. NHL calibre players can absolutely fire a quick saucer pass and until this year, it was impossible to do.
What game mode you play? In WOC it's essential to have slow saucers.
You can slow saucer now by holding sauce longer than 1 second.

Yup same. R1. Hold it longer than a second, you'll get a slower higher sauce.

Not nearly slow enough. You can pass straight to a teammate, but not a soft saucer into space where they’ll arrive in two seconds.
Agreed. But the current state of saucer pass with just a press is perfect and I would hate if that was reverted.
It shouldn't be one or the other. Devs should come up with mechanics that let you control both. But not having a soft saucer is a bigger issue at the moment.
