Signs of the downfall of EA NHL franchise game
Hello fellow EA NHL fans. I am a big EA NHL franchise fan since decades. Since I never made the transition to the newest family of consoles, I was left off the last few versions of NHL because EA decided not to bring them to the PC. Since I now have a GamePass Ultimate subscription, I am able to play NHL 24 and NHL 25 via CloudGaming on my PC. Not the same like the native experience, but good enough to be back on the digital ice. Now I am afraid that EA might let the whole NHL franchise die at all. It is striking to me, that NHL 26 that is available since September 2025 is still not playable with the GamePass subscription. But what did surprise me even more is that you don't even find NHL 26 on the EA App itself. At least not in my European region version, if this is relevant. I truly wonder, if EA does let this gem of a game series die.
