Stil no fix for BAP after patch

News feed update? If you mean that automatic scrolling feed on bottom of the screen, it’s useless. We need full lists of injuries/transactions, it’s the only way to keep up what’s going on in the league.

I’m confused on what exactly was fixed in be a pro? My new be a pro is on line 3 or 4 and it still requires a form score of 70-80. Am I missing something?

Im just sick and tired of having to be Wayne Gretzky…. Like we’ve all made our players in previous games have 100 plus points a season etc but now it’s like I want a balanced mode, I want to come in and struggle a little bit point wise, but that doesn’t mean I deserve to get basically benched😂 imagine your coach looking at a 17 year old NHL player (should be in highschool btw ea good job) and then going oh he’s only scoring 65 percent of the games, let’s actually just not play him whatsoever even though he’s top 5 on our team as a 79 overall 17 year old in the nhl…. Like ea realizes that not every player in the NHL has the same point production as Connor mcdavid right? Right? No?😂

Yes form score should just be scrapped tbh. I really don’t understand why it just can’t go off coaches scores. Coaches score grasps your performances much better as it’s not just focused on goals. Coaches scores can bug a bit though like mistaking AIs mistakes as your own etc so it does need polishing to some extent also but is better then form score.. If form score has to stay it has to be made with more realistic goals especially if your playing as a d-man but I just think it’s a bad concept altogether which has ruined playing BAP. As a d-man I had 10 points in pre season and solid coaches scores every game just to still be dropped to AHL because of form score it’s ludicrous and so unrealistic. BAP needs to cater for all positions on the ice imo also

Yes AI needs to play better and everything else all needs fixing/adding too. BAP could be such a fun mode if they just put some real effort in to it i hope they listen

I would like to see everything on that list, especially AI playing better. I don't mind the form score at the moment but when I went from 3rd pairing to 2nd pairing, it went from 65 to 80. to big of a jump. I think the highest it should go for 1rst pairing/1 line is 80 or 85 no more. but I would add one thing to that list and that is please, PLEASE get rid of the negative feedback on the coaches score. I don't mind a few but geez I lose more than I gain. I got 1 goal scored on me while I was on the ice and it took -3% out of defense. I don't agree with most of what it takes from you. I can be in the best position that can be and if my goalie doesn't stop it because it somehow got past me, that is NOT my fault. I can take it if I try to check someone near the blue line and miss and they get a odd man rush and score, yea my fault but I'd say 95% of all the gigs I get is NOT my fault but the AI teammates fault. again I wouldn't mind getting scored on (well not ALL the time) or losing if I would not get gigged for every little thing that actually happens in real hockey. like if I'm in my "green zone" and "covering my man" and we get scored on, don't give ME a bad line defense. plus other things but it would take to long to list them all.

Here is in my opinion what I'd like to see them do in the next patch to adjust the form score which is the biggest gripe in be a pro.

The form score on each challenge normally starts out at that particular challenge I do believe? form score 65, 70, 80, 90 or whatever should be 100 form score?

1. Each game your form should start out at 100 form score, and you don't get any points or any +/- the form score should stay the same, shouldn't move either way, stays at 100.
2.  If you play a game with no points and you get scored on and you get a - you lose 5 of the form score for each goal scored against you and if you started the game at 100 and get scored against the form score would be 95 at end of the game.
3. If you play a game and get no points and get a + or +'s, you gain 5% form score for each + and if you started the game at 100 it would stay at 100 but if you started the game at 95 you will get a 5% for the + and it would be 100.
4.  If you play a game and get a goal, it's automatic 100 form score but if you get a - that will drop your form score to 95, if you score a goal and get some +'s you will get extra 5 for each + but if you started the game at 100 if will stay at 100 unless you got some -'s
5. If you play a game and get an assist it's an automatic 100 form score but if you get an assist but a - that's a 95 form score, but if you get an assist with a + that's an extra 5 form score.

What I'm trying to get at is your form score shouldn't go down if you get no points but if you get -'s it should go down by just 5 for each - and go up 5 for each +. This way you can keep the silly form score without having to score better than Wayne Gretzky is every single game.

I'm not sure about anyone else but the issue I have about the +/- (getting scored on) is that 95% of the time the other team scores is WHEN I'M ON THE ICE. with my enforcer Dman, I'm about game 55 and out of all those games the other team scored while simulating maybe 3 of those games but still only maybe 1 goal. the rest is when I was on the ice. heck in one game I got 4 goals scored on me and that is because of the stupid AI not doing what they are supposed to or giving the puck up in my zone or just past my blue line. I can't just stay back and play D because of the form score is wanting you to score goals or assists. even shooting from the blue line doesn't help because of the superman superstar goalie for the other team and if I do get the shot off, I get blasted and knocked down and then they get an odd man rush and score anyway. it's a no win scenario.

RobHockey​ i think this idea is pretty flawed. If I’m reading this correctly, this seems impossible to get a form score of 85 or below. Say you did nothing in a game, no goals or assists, and had a -3, that would give you a form score of 85. Which ultimately, if you played like this every game you’d get on the second line? That doesn’t make sense at all. It definitely need to be more intuitive for that, or have greater negatives.

jprovo1​ it’s a pretty well known fact that your goalie is significantly worse than the other teams goalie and that your AI teammates are incredibly stupid and turn over the puck way to often compared to opposing AI. While the EA development team has never fixed this in over a decade, you can mess around with game sliders to help improve your team. To make it fair, I’ve increased my goalies sliders (adjust the human sliders) to make it more fair to the other teams goalie. I’m still working on how to balance my offense to opposing AI offense (cause your AI teammates just skate into opposing team and lose puck). I think it would be recommended to play on Pro or All Star and then helping out opposing team a little (for sliders) to balance it out

wallyzfan1  My ideas aren't perfect but the way the form SCORE is now you need to score goals and get points in every single game, that's flawed.
