There are no changes to the franchise mode.

The game was recently updated. However, they didn't add the Oilers' home jersey. Regarding the randomness in franchise games, where you take 30 shots and don't score at least one goal, and the AI scores at least two out of four shots, there are also issues with finishing. My players in the opposing goalie zone can't finish the puck into the empty net.

Hi there. You probably need to download the latest roster update. Try that and then check to see if those jerseys are showing.

As far as shots not going in goes, it's more about shot quality than quantity. Try creating better scoring chances by getting the goalie moving. Take advantage of screens as well. I'm sure there are some videos online with tips for scoring.
