I just made a nice long comment similar, but EASHL is in a REALLY bad spot right now. It hasn't been this bad gameplay wise in a few years. As usual, the first couple tuners nuked what was absolutely solid gameplay out of the box. Now, we all know what the patch/tuner notes say, pretty sure 99% of us can read...however, the difference in game play points towards things being tweaked behind the scenes that weren't noted...
Gameplay hasn't changed. Other than the tuner fix for the No Contest ability. Otherwise, gameplay is identical that it's been since launch. Nothing has been changed that isn't noted, but if there's one constant going back to NHL 09 it's that we make shadow changes. With the exception of a couple of times over the years where a change happened that was missed in the notes, what you see is what you get.

Respectfully, it's not the same. It's night and day different

Wait, which is it, because now you're openly admitting that you do make changes.

He is saying that a constant since NHL 09 is that "they make shadow changes" ( people are claiming this, not EA themselves) but outside of a changes not making it into the patch notes out of error, that has not happened

Yes. That's what I was saying. We've been accused of this forever and it's never something we've intentionally done. I know there were a couple times where a change made it in that wasn't documented. We're human, mistakes are made, but we're never intentionally leaving changes out of patch/tuner notes.
trw1987 I see that comment made it's way to reddit. I don't post over there so I can't add the above clarification. If you could add this to your thread, I'd appreciate it.
