Unnecessary/forced Diving Shot
Could some one at EA NHL explain to me why a diving shot attempt seemed to make more sense for the AI then doing a basic one-timer? There was no clear chance for this type of shot attempt to work at ...

This is not even a shot attempt.
I understand that the desperation shot is going off easily, however this is not that sort of instance.
Can you please explain what sort of shot attempt was being made cause I wasn't aware a diving poke check towards the boards was a shot attempt?
If this is what EA NHL is defining as a shot attempt under the AI logic there is more issues then I even thought there was.
Where was the net in the view of the video evidence I showed? What trajectory did the puck have that directed it towards the net to deem it a shot attempt?
