Wishlist for NHL 27 Be a Pro mode.
- Let us start our career in the minors.
- Let us play in the All Star game.
- Let us play a current NHL player.
- Show who is injured on our team and our be a pro and what injury and how long the injury will be when we click on that player or our player in the view lines or have an injury section of lineup.
- Show who got traded on our team and who he got traded for in a trade section.
- Make it a big deal when we get close to breaking records or tying records or breaking records like 50 Goals in 50 games, breaking Wayne Gretzky's record for most Goals in a year, most hits in a year, most hits in a game, most blocked shots, or any kind of record, that would bring more immersion to the game.
- Put in National Anthem before each game and zoom in on players as the Anthem is playing.
- Put music in between puck drops.
- Let us play after the Whistle and maybe give us a chance to have bench clearing brawls in rival games.
- Show black eyes and bloody noses after fights and make the injuries last a few games, show blood on uniforms after fights.
- Show some form of team meetings, show coach or Captain motivating the team before a big game.
- Give us an option if we play forward to be able to be moved to the point on a powerplay.
- Add an actual practice or training mode for like faceoffs, shooting, deking, blocking shots, speed, hitting etc. and give us experience while in those modes.
That's all I can think of at the moment, this will add more immersion to the Be a Pro mode.
Here are a couple more ideas.
14. Shows lines that are on the ice in top left by scoreboard.
15. Have the rest of your teammates gain Overall ratings and experience as they advance through the season, weird how your pro is the only one gaining in overall and experience? and have your teammates fight to move up the lineup.
16. This is similar to #15. This might be hard to implement but have your teammates have the same form score challenges you are faced with, it's very strange that the 1st line forwards go many games without scoring and getting a few -'s and they never get bumped down a line?
17. Give us an option to turn off the form score and keep the challenges and maybe give us an option to lower the form score to what we want.
18. Give us an option at the start of our career depending on your position to stay on one line your whole career. You want to be a Superstar and break scoring records you get the 1st line, if you want to casually play and just score every once in a while you get 2nd and 3rd line, if you want to be a grinder and just want to stop the best players you get the 4th line. Same with defenseman.
