xbox gamepass on pc

hey everybody

hoping someone can point me in the right direction, im newer to pc gaming i get the basics but troubleshooting im still working on LOL 

i have been playing nhl 25 on pc through the xbox app for months. i was stoked to see nhl 26 released this week on game pass. got home and downloaded it on the xbox, it plays fine. when i bring it up on the xbox app on pc i dont get the "play" option i only get the "see in store". when i click that the only option is "share" 

i've tried googling and checking all of the settings i know to check. what am i missing?

    I do not, just xbox game pass ultimate and ea play pro... is that needed to play 26? I've been playing 25 without the game pass pc subscription

    Actually, it's not a PC game so it shouldn't be needed. Sorry about that. As a test, try using an incognito browser. That way we can avoid any cookies issues. Also, if you're not using an Edge browser, try that as well.

    You lost me, sorry like I said im newer 😂

    Im trying to launch from the Xbox and/the ea app on pc, why would I be using a browser to try to launch the game? 

    Nhl 25 comes up when I launch from Xbox app
